My Style

I provide individualized, insight-oriented therapy for high-achieving teens and adults who are ready for a more sustainable way of functioning. This is thoughtful, collaborative work, designed around how you think, what drives you, and what actually helps, so you can feel clearer, steadier, and less stuck in your own head.

A lot of the people I work with are used to being “the capable one.”

They're thoughtful, driven, and responsible. On the surface, they seem to have things under control. Internally, though, it often feels like a lot is happening at once - pressure, overthinking, self-doubt, and a constant sense of needing to keep up.

Therapy with me is not about taking away your ambition or lowering your standards. It’s about helping you function at a high level without feeling constantly overwhelmed or burned out.

My style is collaborative, grounded, and practical. I aim to help you understand what’s going on and give you tools you can actually use outside of our sessions.

How I Help

Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to keep it all together.

Therapy offers a place to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and develop a more sustainable way forward.

Together, we may work on:

  • managing anxiety and performance pressure

  • reducing overthinking and mental overwhelm

  • building a healthier relationship with achievement

  • developing emotional resilience and coping strategies

  • navigating life transitions (school, college, career, relationships)

In sessions, this may include:

  • learning practical tools to manage anxiety in real time

  • identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns

  • gently facing anxiety provoking situations at a manageable pace

  • understanding how stress shows up in the body

  • building more flexible, sustainable ways of responding to pressure

My goal is to balance insight with practical tools so therapy feels both meaningful and usable in everyday life.

Therapeutic Modalities

Depending on your needs, I incorporate skills and strategies from:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

  • Somatic and body-based approaches

  • Mindfulness-based strategies

My Approach

I use evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to the unique needs of each individual I work with.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I adapt treatment based on your goals, experiences, and what’s actually helping in real time.

My work is grounded in a person-centered, relational approach. I believe you are the expert on your own experience, and therapy works best when it feels collaborative, honest, and flexible.

I also regularly incorporate feedback-informed care, regularly checking in about what's helping and what isn't. This helps ensure that our work remains aligned with your goals and continues to feel useful, supportive, and effective over time
